USDA Memo, SP 12-2019, Flexibility for the Administrative Review Cycle Requirement (February 22, 2019) describes the option for state agencies to request a waiver of the required School Nutrition Program (SNP) three-year Administrative Review cycle. TDA previously requested and was approved to operate under a four-year cycle in 2020.TDA is requesting a statewide waiver from USDA to implement a five-year review cycle for SNP. By extending the review cycle to five years, TDA staff will be able to direct additional resources to provide technical assistance, reduce the time needed to conduct the total number of reviews, and allocate additional resources to identify and support the needs of high-risk SFAs.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
