The Texas Department of Agriculture is excited to announce the winners of the 2026 Texas Fruit & Vegetable Day Contest.

Congratulations to the following school districts:

First Place: McLeod ISD

Second Place: Beeville ISD

Third Place: Culberson County-Allamoore ISD

This year, 29 submissions were received from school districts across Texas, nearly doubling the number from 2025. It was impressive to see how everyone’s participation reflected effort, teamwork and creativity amongst the students and school nutrition teams as they celebrated Texas-grown fruits and vegetables.

Thank you for celebrating Texas Fruit & Vegetable Day and for helping showcase the creativity, dedication, and impact of school nutrition programs across the state. We are grateful for your work and hope you will participate again in the future.
