Notice to User Access Managers

" September 30, 2021 - A few updates to entity User Access Managers (UAM) regarding security changes, processes, and forms.
"
September 30, 2021 - A recent change to the Food Distribution Program security groups naming convention has been made within TX-UNPS, the User Access Manager Handbook Guide, and the Security Authority for User Access Manager (FND-135) form. Users were not affected by the change and all access remained the same. The names have been adjusted to:
    • FDP CE Administration was updated to FDP NSLP/SFSP
    • FDP CE Direct Ship was updated to FDP Direct Ship School
    • FDP Food Bank was updated to CSFP/TEFAP CE

Managing your entity user's security accounts is done directly within TX-UNPS which means the Certificate of Authority for External Users (FND-101) no longer needs to be submitted to TDA. If updates are needed for your access as the UAM (adding a new security group, updating user information, etc.), the FND-135 should be submitted.

As a reminder…setting up a new user within the CE System Logins screen requires a 3-step process after clicking the “Add User” link:
    • User Information
    • Security Groups
    • Generate User ID by clicking Details > Edit on the User Login section

Helpful information, reminders, notices as well as the Handbook Guide and videos can be found here.
