The Food & Nutrition Division Training team is excited to share an important update regarding the TEFAP Training Program. The new TEFAP training page is now live on squaremeals.org. This marks a significant milestone, as TEFAP now has its own dedicated page separate from CSFP.

This update is part of the TEFAP Reach & Resiliency Grant Training Initiative (FY22 Round 1.0) and includes the following enhancements:
New TEFAP Branded Banner - A fresh look for the TEFAP training resources.
Comprehensive TEFAP Training:
  • Onboarding and New CE Training - Utilizing the TEFAP Policy Handbook Series, which provides detailed guidance for navigating the course.
  • Self-Paced Web-Based Modules - Ten modules corresponding to each chapter of the TEFAP Policy Handbook, complete with USDA Professional Standards Codes and Certifications of Completion.
  • Instructor-Led Virtual Training - Recordings of ten TEFAP Policy Handbook Series webinars delivered to the CEs in June 2024.

Additionally, the page maintains:

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at: https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/ad-3027.pdf, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
