Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Deadline – June 30, 2022

" April 1, 2022 - The deadline to elect CEP for SY 2022-2023 is June 30th.

April 1, 2022 - Contracting entities (CEs) that plan to operate CEP must indicate that they will operate CEP in their program application in the Texas Unified Nutrition Programs System (TX-UNPS) by June 30, 2022. This includes CEs operating CEP for the first time and those that operated CEP in SY 2021-2022. CEs with questions on how to indicate intended CEP participation should contact their ESC.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
