Summer Food Service Program Year 2022 Due Dates

" March 1, 2022 - TX-UNPS Application Packets, or if applicable the Intake Form, MUST BE submitted by the designated due dates to be eligible for SFSP 2022 approval.
March 1, 2022 - Deadlines are below:

March 15, 2022:
Last day to submit Application Packets in TX-UNPS if CE is requesting advance payments.
Application Packets submitted in TX-UNPS after this date will not be eligible to receive advance payments for summer 2022.

April 15, 2022:
Last day to submit the SFSP Intake Form via to initiate the potential applicant review process. Last day to submit the SFSP application packet in TX-UNPS for all renewing SFSP CEs that are Not in Good Standing (including CEs with a temporary deferred Serious Deficiency [SD]) for SFSP 2021, CACFP 2021 and/or CACFP 2022.

May 1, 2022:
Last day to submit Application Packet in TX-UNPS for all other renewing CEs.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at:, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
