CACFP Workgroup
2023/2024 CACFP Input Workgroup

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Input Workgroup is a group of CACFP sponsors and independent centers that provides input to the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) on the impact of policies and procedures related to CACFP. TDA’s goal is to ensure that workgroup members represent a broad and diverse selection of CACFP sponsors; therefore, membership selection is based on criteria such as organization type, sponsorship size, location, and sponsor type. Members of the CACFP Input Workgroup represent the perspective of their CACFP colleagues and serve as liaisons for CACFP sponsors and contracting entities to address issues with TDA during the workgroup meetings.

The 2023/2024 CACFP Input Workgroup members are listed below:

The input and feedback from these meetings help guide TDA as we work to provide the resources and trainings Texas CACFP operators need to achieve success and compliance.

Workgroup members and TDA are excited about the partnership opportunity to ensure growth and success of the CACFP in Texas! If you have topics for discussion to include on an upcoming agenda or ideas you would like to bring to the attention of one of the subcommittees, please communicate your ideas to a current workgroup member.
