Please halt all distribution of AJFA posters, per USDA.

Per the USDA, no more AJFA posters should be distributed/disseminated until further notice by FNS or by State or local agencies and no management evaluation (ME) findings should be cited against State or local agencies/clinics/sites for a situation of lacking display of the “And Justice for All” poster. For MEs or monitoring reviews that identify an agency or clinic lacks a nondiscrimination poster, please cite this as an observation so it can be followed up at a future time when new posters become available nationwide.

School Nutrition Program Update

Until the August timeframe, TDA had approved items utilized in A' la carte meals such as coffee machines, cappuccino machines, and some frozen drink machines. About August 2018 until now, these items might have been denied as not being part of a reimbursable meal. If you were denied one of these items, please resubmit to TDA for approval through the capital approval module of TXUNPS. These items, although based on a la cartel sales, are eligible for approval subject to the reasonableness and appropriateness of them.
