TDA Announces TEFAP Grant Recipients

" October 20, 2022 - In June 2022, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) awarded the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) $3,759,351 from the Build Back Better (BBB) Reach and Resiliency grant to apply towards the State Distributing Agency (SDA) and Eligible Recipient Agency (ERA) projects in Texas. The initiative’s key objective is to expand the reach of the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) into remote, rural, Tribal, and/or low-income areas that are underserved by the program. TDA has announced the six Grant Recipients in the first round of the TEFAP Reach and Resiliency Grants.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
