MENU Module
Food & Nutrition is proud to offer MENU Module, a FREE nutritional analysis software for CEs participating in the National School Lunch Program!

Every district, and sometimes sites within districts, handle day-to-day food production differently. But all districts must spend the time to calculate the nutritional value of each menu. If those time consuming calculations were automatically handled, what could you accomplish with those extra hours?

MENU Module allows you to:

Show the nutritional value of menus MENU Module provides a nutritional analysis for all foods and menus entered into the system. The software analyzes menus for compliance with federal requirements for calories, fats, carbohydrates, protein, sugars and sodium. No more time spent collecting nutritional information!
Manage food component offerings
MENU Module provides a simple “pass/fail, green for go, red for stop” indicator for daily and weekly menus, in regards to the food components offered. This pass/fail rating can be viewed before actually serving the items to make appropriate adjustments. This is also used during an Administrative Review.
Automatically update any menu changes
Are bananas on the menu but not in the kitchen? Empower Site Managers to easily add the fruit on hand. This easy change is visible, and is recorded at all levels of access.
View complete and incomplete production records for every site
Out at a conference? Remember, this can all be done from any location with WiFi and a computer.
Reduce time spent for Administrative Reviews
TDA Compliance Monitors have specific reports indicating nutrient compliance.

BUT IT GETS BETTER!

School Cafe is MENU Module's online and mobile, branded app. Parents and students can access upcoming school menus and the nutritional content of each menu. A 5-star rating scale for menu items makes it easy for students and parents to provide feedback to the Child Nutrition Department!
