Every year, the Texas Department of Agriculture bases its designs for National School Lunch Week and School Breakfast Week off the winning artwork in the You Art What You Eat Student Art Contest!
Check out last year's gallery of winner's and learn how you can help students submit their artwork in this year's contest by clicking here!
The National School Lunch Week (NSLW) 2021 materials highlight Texas students’ creativity; this year’s artwork was inspired by the winning entries in the most recent You Art What You Eat student art contest. To enter, Texas students illustrated their interpretations of a nutritious meal and the space-exploration theme Feed Your Creativity with a Healthy School Lunch.
The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) has created materials that enable you and your staff to easily promote participation in National School Lunch Week (NSLW), October 11-15. We encourage you to participate this year to help brighten your meal service this fall and celebrate the 75th anniversary of the National School Lunch Program!
You can access materials in a digital format below, as well as other resources to help boost student participation.
