The tutorial guides you through the following:

  • TDA Open Data and TDA Data Overviews
  • Locating, filtering, and exporting TDA data on the Texas Open Data Portal
  • Basic data manipulation in Excel

Unless otherwise noted, TDA’s datasets provide site-level program participation, administrative contact, meal counts, and reimbursement information from TX-UNPS for School Nutrition Programs, Child and Adult Care Food Programs, and summer meal programs for program years 2015-2016 to present. Datasets are updated regularly to ensure data accurately reflects changes characteristic of program progress.

If the data you’re looking for is not available on the Open Data Portal, use the Public Information Request contact to submit a request.
