" Initial Newsletter Announcement "
February 1, 2023 - Achieving excellence in an Administrative Review (AR) for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) deserves recognition from peers, the community, and the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA). Beginning this month, the TDA Food and Nutrition Division will showcase NSLP contracting entities (CEs) that have no findings in their most recent Administrative Review. These outstanding CEs will receive a digital toolkit − web badge, web button, web banner, and social media ads− to post on the district’s website and social media platforms, a certificate signed by Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller, acknowledgment at MegaCon 2023, and a call out in the monthly NSLP newsletter. The dedication and commitment required to operate a successful program merit this acknowledgment. Look for the list of No Findings CEs in future NSLP Newsletter and at MegaCon 2023.
The following CEs have received a No Findings AR in the 2022-2023 school year:
Mullin ISD
Santa Anna ISD
Port Aransas ISD
Dallas ISD
Argyle ISD
