CSFP
In September, TDA entered the orders for deliveries in 2027 (January-June). We will be entering the next round of orders in December for deliveries in 2027 (April-June).
To ensure inventory is drawn down appropriately and to avoid food loss or shortages, it is best practice to review USDA distribution rates and align them with your current inventory and anticipated truckload deliveries.
Program Year 2026-2027
Due to many weather-related issues, farmers are struggling to meet demand as anticipated for some seasonal vegetable materials
100308 Carrots – 2 truckloads in November are delayed and expected to be delivered in December 2026
100306 Green Beans – 8 truckloads for November and December canceled
100314 Peas canceled – 2 truckloads for December canceled
TEFAP
The September ordering deadline for entitlement orders was completed on 9/23/26 for deliveries in 2027 (January-June). The next ordering deadline will be in December for deliveries in 2027 (April-June).
Program Year 2026-2027
Due to many weather-related issues, farmers are struggling to meet demand as anticipated for many fruit and vegetable materials, and shortfalls with various protein materials due to budget constraints

111540 Fresh Peaches – delayed and expected to be delivered by July 2027.

100314 Peas – October and November truckloads canceled

111325 Shrimp – canceled
USDA was recently able to offer 2 trucks of 111291 Atlantic Pollock to provide some support for the cancellation of 111325 Shrimp, and a bonus of 100293 Raisins and 111620 Fresh Mandarin Tangerines that should begin delivering by November 2026.
Remember that all USDA Foods can be tracked in the WBSCM Requisition Status Report, and ongoing pricing fluctuations may occur throughout the program year until the requisition updates to a “Purchased” status. It is recommended to regularly generate an updated WBSCM Requisition Status Report for the period 01/01/2026 through 12/31/2027 to review all requisitions.
