USDA Foods Available List
USDA makes available approximately 200 materials for the NSLP program in Direct Delivery and Processing Diversions. TDA’s USDA Foods Team orders USDA Foods for the NSLP program based on RA requisitions placed into WBSCM and the ability to make a full truckload following USDA’s guidelines for delivery requirements.

An RA can request to add a material that is offered by USDA but not available in the WBSCM catalogs by completing the USDA Foods Survey Feedback form that is made available to RAs by TDA each year in October.

For each program year, the USDA Foods Team builds the catalogs in WBSCM based off RA feedback from the USDA Foods Survey as well as analyzing historical data for materials that were ordered in previous program years by Texas RAs. All USDA Foods available in Processing Diversion will be offered.
