The Food & Nutrition Division Training team is excited to share an important update regarding the TEFAP Training Program. The new TEFAP training page went live July 2024 on squaremeals.org. This marks a significant milestone, as TEFAP now has its own dedicated page separate from CSFP.
This update is part of the TEFAP Reach & Resiliency Grant Training Initiative (FY22 Round 1.0) and includes the following enhancements:
New TEFAP Branded Banner - A fresh look for the TEFAP training resources.
Comprehensive TEFAP Training:
- Onboarding and New CE Training - Utilizing the TEFAP Policy Handbook Series, which provides detailed guidance for navigating the course.
- Self-Paced Web-Based Modules - Ten modules corresponding to each chapter of the TEFAP Policy Handbook, complete with USDA Professional Standards Codes and Certifications of Completion.
- Instructor-Led Virtual Training - Recordings of ten TEFAP Policy Handbook Series webinars delivered to the CEs in June 2024.
Additionally, the page maintains:
Existing TEFAP Content - Including general and additional training resources.
We encourage you to explore the new training page and take advantage of these updated resources. Thank you for your continued support and dedication.
